The Ahua King is continuous evolution of the most proven and popular Alaia model. If you have one Alaia on your quiver, this is the must have. The straight and parallel lines of the Alaia KING make it crazy fast and the sharp edges allow power carves. Bottom hull allows smooth transitions from rail to rail and single concave under the back foot provides extra control and responsiveness.
- Parallel rails
- Wide square tail
- Hull with single concave under both feet
- Round, thin rails with sharp edge under back foot
Length: 6'4" (195 cm)
Width: 16" (41 cm)
Thickness; 1" (2.5 cm)
6 – 7ft is the ideal length of an Alaia. Lighter, smaller and more advanced surfers should look for something between 6 – 6’6”. Heavier, taller and less advanced surfers should look towards 6’6” – 7″ for a board with bit more paddle power. If you plan on surfing only small, fat, rolling waves with your Alaia then a longer board up to 8’0” may be suitable.
